Re: Inserting steps and staircase I hate the learning curve of most 3D programs, as they have a lot of features (and the accompanying GUI) that i dont use. Blender is the worst of the free ones, but AoI is the easiest. It's still a little hard to get used to, but it has a simple interface (altho no support). Still, AoI is tried and true and works for the most part at creating complex architectural pieces for your SH3D home. The texturing and material use is hit or miss and takes a lot of trial and error. My advice is add flat pieces -- don't extrude or manipulate primitives, so the textures don't blur or streak when importing to SH3D. |
