While trying to get to sleep, I’ve been looking over my past projects, and when I got to this one a few ideas for an alternate version (or versions) came to mind. I figured if I wrote them down here and now, I might be able to actually get to sleep.
First idea: What if I were to make the storage areas under the garage stalls into additional garage stalls with access being from a street behind the house?
Second idea: What if I were to make the storage areas under the garage stalls into another small apartment, either 1-bedroom or studio? Maybe even adding a carport or more garage space down there?
Third idea (and this one is a big one): What if I were to make the top floor of the main apartment (along with the attic spaces) into its own separate apartment, and all of the changes that would be needed to make that happen?
I don’t know if I will actually get any of those things done but hopefully I’ll be able to get to sleep now that I’ve gotten those ideas out of my head...
