Re: 2D view of carpets Hans is right but nevertheless, there's an easier tip than changing the elevation of all the items put on the carpet: 1. Lock the plan to simplify selection process. 2. Draw a selection rectangle that encloses the carpet and everything on it. 3. Press the Shift key and click on the carpet keeping the Shift key pressed to unselect it. 4. Cut and Paste the selected items. Now that the pasted items were inserted after the carpet, they appear on top of it in the 2D view. This tip may be applied on whatever items at same elevation you want to restack.
