Unlit Textures
I would love to be able to flag any texture of a surface or in a material as "unlit" — that is, unaffected by the lighting algorithm and showing at its normal brightness in the 3D View.

I need this feature to show TV screens, elevator buttons, and appliance readouts that are lit but would not neccesarily be considered a light source.

After doing some research on the MTL standard, I thought it would be possible using the "illum 0" statement in an OBJect's MTL file, but after doing some testing with this and the Ka, Kd, and Ks values, i still can't get unlit surfaces. I think its gonna take a code tweak to make textures unlit.

Perhaps, Emmanuel, we could have SH3D use the "illum 0" statement for a special rendering trigger, in that the renderer does not apply light sources to the unlit surface, but just draws the texture image or color as is...
