Re: Suggestions from a newbie +1 for the snap to grid. Can another option for units be added that would do the same thing? Like in addition to foot/inch/fraction have just foot/inch? Right inch/decimal and foot/inch/fraction effectively "snap" to a 1/8" grid and the metric units "snap" to a 1mm grid. I assume there is a common routine which translates mouse position to coordinates which round to the nearest 1/8" or 1mm depending on whether Imperial or metric units are chosen. If more choices are available (round to the nearest inch, half inch, etc) that would provide coarser snapping ability. |
