Re: Error & SH3D close with "File>Preferences ..." command Hello HansMex, Following is the version of Ubuntu : cat /etc/issue Ubuntu 9.04 \n \l For the video drivers, I don't know how to have information. In fact it is very strange that the very only command that crashes SH3D is precisely "Preferences..." ! And If I can judge about the window of "Preferences" in the help-forum, this windows is not very awful ! And SH3D is the only application with which I have encountered a serious error : even Wine or FontyPython perfectly work ! I suspect that my "by-hand" (particulary with Java) SH3D installation is not conform but I have no idea about the place of the problem. An other thing is that Java also crashes with a log-file which begins so : A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x7004a718, pid=5853, tid=1881676688 # # JRE version: 6.0_17-b04 # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (14.3-b01 mixed mode linux-x86 ) # Problematic frame: # C [swrast_dri.so+0x21718 ...................... So I am afraid that I should stay stick. Nevertheless thanks for your encouragement ! |
