Re: 2D version limitations: Request for solutions The Keep proportions check box can't be unchecked when it's too complicate too deform furniture, for example when you modify an opened door or a group which contains some objects rotated around an horizontal axis. For opened doors, close it first and for groups modify the objects within the group.
