Re: Build first, model then?
Picture of woodshed in summer at noon.

Boat is moved near waterline, oars taken from shelter and electric outboar with batteries now ready to use.
Background picture a bit hazy because day it was taken (at the beginning of June in Rantasalmi) was very warm.

More about details:
- only one light source used (sun)
- textures at log ends now visible
- log end texture downloaded here: https://www.sketchuptextureclub.com/textures/...s/wood-logs-texture-17400
- log end texture is added to my textures library and used with these settings

- texture of log itself is SH3D texture Dark wood log but stretched about 5 times longer
- that stretched texture is used with these settigs

Angle is not 90 degrees because small deviation give impression of naturally grown, a bit twisted wood.
Together with scaling of 300% this texture help to create cracks like in the dried wood.

Electric outboard motor (Torqeedo and batteries created by 'artisan') found from 3D Warehouse .
After download I edited them and saved separately in .DAE-format with free version of SketchUp 2017.

In the future i try to use landscape in these pictures.
Also use of enkonyito's panel lighting is in my study list.

Back to the winter picture: snowy tree on the left was taken from Veronique's guide of ChaletInScenery.sh3d
Thank you, Veronique!
