Re: Cut-out for kitchen sink There are two ways to "slice through" an object: 1 - a door/window makes a cut-out in a wall 2 - a staircase makes a cutout in a floor/ceiling. For your purpose the second option may be the best. To do this: 1 - import a sink/drain and mark it as a staircase during the importation process 2 - make sure you have the AdvancedEdit plugin installed 3 - draw a room that has the exact measures for your worktop 4 - use AdvancedEdit's function Plan -> Edit Points to make any corrections needed for a perfect fit 5 - insert sink and drain 6 - select and use 3D View - Export to OBJ format - Selection only to export your model 7 - import your model and use it H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |
