Re: Modify wall texture color/hue/saturation on the fly to "play around" This has been mentioned as a desirable feature to add. I've been working a lot lately using Sketchup in conjunction with SH3D, and SU includes a 'colorize' option in its color/texture editor.[1] Personally, I'd like to see this ability added to SH3D, and I find SU's handling of it works well in terms of balancing between the original texture and the added color. However, I've mainly used it to add color to primarily monochromatic textures -- for instance, changing faux chrome to faux copper -- or textures with a narrow range of colors, such as wood grain or granite, so I can't speak to how well it works when the original texture contains a wider range of hues. If you're not already familiar with it, you might want to check it out -- Sketchup Make is free for personal use -- and let Emmaneul know if and how well similar functionality might meet your needs. __________ 1.
