Re: Cannot get windows to have handles inside Shall I look for another 3D model of the window? Probably, but you may have a problem finding a standard model that matches your requirements exactly. You could start with model files in SH3D libraries, models created with the additional SH3D properties for alignment and window opening etc. If you do not have extended model libraries installed, try SH3D online with a larger collection. Just use the window you like in a file, export it to your PC, and copy/paste the window to the file you are working on. There are also some additional windows (with SH3D properties) in the SourceForge repository (search window), e.g. 260. If you cannot find a perfect match in the SH3D model libraries, you can also import model files. When you check window during import, you will only get a hole in the wall and the standard alignment and no display of where window opens. You can also add the advanced properties to models yourself (see thread 2006), but that does require some extra work and knowledge of models and SH3D properties/libraries (the SVG miniquide has a brief intro, see page 9). If all else fails, you could post a picture of the original. If it is relatively standard, it is possible that someone has already made it. ok ![]() |
