Re: Cannot get windows to have handles inside I'm not sure if this will get you what you need, but I've done something similar to place windows and doors in a thick wall without the object's depth increasing to match the wall thickness; it also allows me to decide against which edge of the wall to align the object. Essentially, I size an access hatch to match the outer dimensions of the door jamb, at a depth to match the wall thickness (in this case, 7 inches), and colored to match the wall. I then place the window or door inside the access hatch at the desired depth (4.5 inches) and aligned with whichever edge of the wall (inside or outside) is desired. I group the two together and then insert the resulting group as an item. I suspect this will allow you to rotate the hatch/window group without the handles migrating. |
