Montmarte art - with better frames Here are a couple of frame models. Decorating a flat with the great masters - like Véronique Puybaret's [imaginary?] flat in Montmartre with mezzanine - just made me think how they practically scream for better frames. These are based, very roughly, on the original used for a local work. The blog post is a good illustration of great paintings with expired copyright (but take care when downloading, even the photographer may claim credit and copyright to the picture). Some great museums, though, will grant general licenses for use of their pictures. Like the local National Museum with many high quality downloads available under CC BY NC (Free for non commercial use, credit artist/photographer - the copyright on Munch's works just expired and they made the collection availabe). Note that for use with SH3D, scaling to much lower pixel size and jpg quality levels, will be more than sufficient. Here is another couple of frames to match your collections - a touch more in line with the art. http://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/d-models/364/ Alternative frames: ![]() From the blog post: ![]() |
