Questions from a newby I am a beginner using this software and had a few questions. Let’s say you have a 1 story house with a 30x30 section and a 20x20 section. In construction, the connecting walls are shared. Is that how you should do it in this program or should each ‘room’ have its own distinct walls? If I have walls set at 8” thickness, this would give me a 16” thick wall in some places, which doesn’t seem correct. The problem I am having is that when I go to put paint on the walls, one room will share a color with the other room etc. seemingly in a random fashion at times. Also, if I am drawing a brick house for instance, should I have an exterior wall made of brick and then a separate interior wall? I know this program isn’t mean to draw architectural plans but I just would like to be able to put a color or texture on a wall and have it be go on the correct walls. As I said, I am new to this program and will probably figure it out eventually but a few tips and tricks would be nice. thanks for your help. |
