Re: Trapezoid window and roof
This is mostly a question of finding the right models, or am I missing something?

As for the standard roofs, you are aware that you can change the textures?

Trapezoid window models are probably hard to find, but I guess also in real life they will mostly be constructed as a combination of rectangles and triangles. The 3D warehouse has lots of windows , but I guess your shape can be a challenge.

However, there is a cheat. Draw short (20 cm or so) walls in the correct trapezoid shape in an empty SH3D document. Select all. Export selection to .obj. Import the obj file, rotating and checking door/window. And there you have a window.

The example can be elaborated - for instance:
- to add window pane: Double-click inside walls to add room. Edit room: uncheck ceiling and add a (semi)transparent texture to the floor.
- to add frame on other side, join two frames (one mirrored), export and import again.
- add protrusion and indication of openings by using Furniture Library Editor and editing advanced properties.
- and so on and so on.

But that is taking SH3D a bit beyond intentions, so it might be easier to have a go with Art of Illusion or Sketchup to make your model. Or post a picture, maybe someone else has made one.

ok

As for roofs, there are more roofs in SF 3D models (search roof) - e.g. 330
