. It seems your using zip files directly importing to SH3D. The problem is that SH3D import all contents in the zip file.It makes your project become larger.More clearly, the imported file "Handrail stair N030114.zip" file consist a model Handrail stair N030114.gsm(42MB) is not work with SH3D any more. So Backup and delete the unwanted files from zip content.Then Import. SH3D supports .obj, .3ds, .dae, .kmz format models and a zip file which consist these format models. SH3D supports .bmp, .jpg, .gif, .png format types for images.
(*:Most of the files in www.archibase.net/www.archive3d.net and similar sites consist of .gsm models which supported by some other applications)
