Re: Importing 3d Models As the model imports correctly here (well, shades of blue and green legs, but with your texture), hansmex' solution should do the trick. However, I see your colour names are in angle brackets. The brackets should be converted when you export, but could cause problems. As a precaution, I would rename the materials (in Sketchup: write a new name over the old one and press enter). In general, try to use plain text names with numbers, avoid spaces and all other characters. As for the black lines (the edges), they should not show in SH3D import (unless they are drawn in thin air or on a flat surface). But you can "remove" the lines in Sketchup too (Window - Soften Edges - in the case of this model, you would need to explode the groups/elements many times to select all elements at the same time). ok |
