Splitting walls and joining them? If I split a wall, and adjust the thickness of one section to be thinner than the other, then the join is in the middle of the thicker wall, with the result that there is a step on the inside and outside. 1) How to adjust the connection point to so that there is only a single step on a chosen side. 2) Bonus points to adjust so that the joint is at an arbitrary position within the thicker wall. Another question. If I draw walls as a continuous operation, then there are arbitrary angled joints. If I draw two walls I don't see how to "Join them together", I can only draw the new wall so it is "buried" in the other wall which doesn't feel like it is the "right" way to do things! Thanks Dave |
