"gray block" problem when dropping in furnature ..... Hello, This is the same problem I had last year ... still have not solved it. I am on a new project and want to see if I can figure it out this time. I am working on putting a roof on a house ... well actually we are framing the house I designed, now onto the workshop. Walls, no problem but the roof .... hmmmmm. I made the roof as a separate file, exported it and then imported it as furniture. My problem is when I view my model, there is a large gray block at the end of the roof. I had the same problem when I did a triangle window last time. I am guessing this is because the program recognizes the sloping roof as a block shape. I tried to use the "copy furniture" feature but I could not load the application. I am using windows 7 and when I download and double click on the app, I get an error. I made a new directory called "plugins", dropped the app in there, double clicked and still an error. I can post the file if it helps for someone to look at it and tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks ..... Mike |
