Re: Hip roofs Bob, There is no roof function within SH3D. However, there is a tutorial that explains how several types of roofs can be made (PDF). Although this tutorial doesn't describe how to make a hip roof, it shows a few other variations, and the technique used should enable you to make a hip roof. As to material estimates... the internal structure of SH3D is prepared for a material list with prices and taxes. However, the user interface hasn't been programmed.
