Re: Some Questions (Rendering, Ubuntu, 64bit,....CAD)
Ralf,

I don't have all the answers, but here's a start.

1 - more pictures in one go
Unfortunately that isn't possible: one picture at a time. But it's a good idea for a feature request.

2 -accelerate rendering
There isn't a "turbo" button in SH3D, but there are a few things that you should bear in mind:
- the more lights (lamps, bulbs, etc) you add, the longer the rendering takes
- make all models invisible that will NOT be visible in the image you're taking; this reduces the rendering time considerably

3 - CAD compatible formats
SH3D saves/exports its data in OBJ format. Your best guess would be to use Blender or on online service to convert your model to a different format.

And by the way... 3.5 hrs isn't exactly bad for a 2000x1400 pix picture (depending on the file size).
Also, programs generally run faster under Ubuntu than they do under Windows (I'm a Ubuntu-64 user).
