Re: Objects turn into black in HQ render Laura, macfrog, Macfrog, you're right, that isn't possible once the texture is included. Now consider this scenario. Load a SKP model in Sketchup, then export it as a DAE model. The texture images are then saved in a separate directory. Move the model to its model-directory, but forget to move the texture-directory. Now import the DAE model and you end up with a model without a texture but rendered in black (?). My guess is that something like that must have happened. Laura, please read the post I made today about elevated floors. It describes again how you can use a shortcut to make the elevated floors in your design.
