Terrain Generator 1.6.1 — validation report
2026-10-29

Environment: Sweet Home 3D 7.5 application JAR and bundled Java3D 1.6,
OpenJDK 17 on Linux, virtual X11 display. Plugin compiled to Java 8 bytecode.

PASS: 36 assertions in final English UI/integration run:
- Both existing pan gestures leave elevations unchanged; Fit view resets target.
- Localized Show heights toggle exists, enables live labels, clears the overlay
when disabled, and regenerates it when enabled again.
- Fixed-point editor is resizable and its content expands with the window.
- A plan click selects and scrolls to a point near the end of a 150-row table.
- Corner creation, numeric height entry, additional points, deletion.
- Labels reflect updated fixed-point elevations after mesh reconstruction.
- Object replacement, context menu, editing without source room, project
save/reopen, undo/redo and cancellation continue to pass.

PASS: German onscreen and Arabic offscreen UI/integration runs (32 assertions
in each run, before the final four explicit toggle/image assertions were added).
Both rendering paths ran with the new height overlay. Screenshots inspected.

PASS: 584590 deterministic height-label assertions across English, German and
Arabic, with 1, 50, 500 and 5000 projected point candidates:
- Readable font-size bounds, localized numeric heights with up to 2 decimals.
- No intersecting label rectangles; all labels stay inside the viewport.
- Painting onto transparent images completes successfully.

PASS: 9546 localization/navigation assertions for all 29 language resources,
number parsing/formatting, RTL and locale fallback; camera target calculations.

PASS: 2662 existing regression assertions for interpolation, exact mesh points,
serialization, textures, plan images, Swing table and transformed terrain.

PASS: Packaged SH3P checked by the host PluginManager, including descriptor,
version, isolated plugin class loader, menu resources and bundled helper classes.
ZIP integrity and Java class-file version are checked during packaging.

Known limits:
- Dense views cannot show every elevation simultaneously without unreadable
text or collisions. Non-fitting labels are omitted; zoom reveals more points.
Fixed points receive placement priority. Heights are editor-relative cm.
- Labels are an overlay, not a terrain visibility/occlusion test; terrain points
hidden behind other terrain may still receive a label if projected onscreen.
- Windows/macOS and native-speaker review of all new translations were not tested.
- No claim of complete absence of defects or testing at the maximum 2048 grid.

Source, tests and licenses are included. X11 shutdown diagnostics may appear
at JVM exit as in earlier successful runs; no plugin exception in passing runs.
