confused How to purge a library?

How to clean out furniture in a category/library?
I thought that importing a furniture library with same name would replace and overwrite the current content? Not merge!

What happened to the ID field? (quote: "ID text field (when a piece has an ID, any other piece with the same ID won't appear in the furniture catalog of Sweet Home 3D)") http://www.sweethome3d.com/support/forum/viewthread_thread,1550

- Thinks this was a great idea to avoid double copies! Having this problem now!

---

crying There also seems to be some strange rules for file names when importing an .OBJ file into the Furniture Library Editor, names are changed.

Samples:
"tool_001_test.obj" loses the underscore when imported ("Tool 001 test"), and first character is capitalized (uppercase letter).

"test_004-B=123456789.obj" become "Test 004 B=12345678", last digit, hyphen and underscore is gone in the Furniture Library Editor.

"002.obj" become "00", this is especially annoying when importing many files at the same time!

Using Furniture Library Editor Version 1.24

Thanks,
Lars

Re: How to purge a library?

I found a solution! biggrin

In the menu Help -> About..., chose Libraries....
Here you can move or delete imported libraries, so only valid libraries are present here.
Reopen SH3D, and only furnitures in the correct library is shown.

(I had several libraries with similar names here, they were active until removed from this folder/directory.)

Thanks! dancing
Best regards,
Lars
