Window Partially above Garage door problem

Hello-
New user here, but things seem to work well, except when I put a "slider window" partially above a "garage door", then a vertical solid blocks the window and garage door in the overlap area. The door and window are the same thickness, and both are thicker than the wall. I'm sure it is something I'm doing wrong, so please set me straight.

Re: Window Partially above Garage door problem

Why do you want the window to overlap the garage door?
If you want the window to make a hole in the garage door, it won't work, because only holes in walls are computed.
