Very nice. Love the layout, but I am puzzled by the choice of building materials. Why straw and clay? Keep posting. ok

construction in mud and straw is very good idea. for economic reasons first , second for its insulating capacity and thirdly because it is a biodegradable material.

here I leave a bit of information .

Economic, yes, ecological yes. But I grew up in a (wooden) house insulated with straw and mud. And it does have mildew and damp issues (and rats). Then again, I survived and miss the old house, and the world moves on - so if you live in a drier place than I and with your consideration into the construction, maybe it could work. And - your design is really very nice. Wish you the best of luck with your dreams of the house. Sure you will pull it off - with lots of modifications along the way - but that is part of the fun... smile

Thanks for sharing. ok

the rats and humidity is because they are not protected well straw .
the straw have to give layers of earth mixed with clay, lime and water must have a foundation on to keep out moisture and chicken wire so that the rats do not come . it is also very important that the bales do not get wet

here I leave a very interesting video of the fire resistance where you can also see the good thermal insulation of straw
