Problems with version 4.3 and Java 7 on Mac OS X 10.8
Hi,
is it possible to run Sweet Home 3D version 4.3 with Oracle Java 7 installed on Mac OS X 10.8.5?
Currently when I try to start the local application, I get a dialog saying I have to download Java 6 from Apple. But Oracle JRE 7 is already installed on my system as you can see from the terminal output:
~$ java -version java version "1.7.0_51" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode) ~$ whereis java /usr/bin/java
Java is the browser is disabled through the Java control panel.

You should use the Jar executable version of Sweet Home 3D. To ensure that the max memory setting will be enough, run it with the following command in the Terminal:
java -Xmx2048m -jar /path/to/SweetHome3D-4.3.jar
To get the path of SweetHome3D-4.3.jar file, simply drag and drop the file from the finder to the Terminal window.
