How to set the center of rotation for an object?

Hello, everyone!
As an SH3D newbie, I hope to ask a not-too-stupid question.

Is there a way to set the center of rotation for an object in the plan? If that existed, it would make a lot of things easier.
At the moment I only found the possibility to rotate an object around its center.
In order not to be misunderstood: I don't mean the 3D view, but the positioning of the object in the plan.

Thank you in advance for the answer!

PS: I would like to express my sincere thanks to the authors of this excellent program and to everyone who has contributed to it in any way! smile

Hello Emmanuel,
I understand. I was looking for something that's not existing.
Thanks for your quick reply.
