Trying to build an underground structure

I have built a basement level (by creating a new level and making it a negative elevation) I have the dimensions, floor, walls and access slope (a ramp) all completed. How can I show the ground level render and have my ground level texture cover the underground structure I created? When I view at my 0 elevation level the below ground room has an open top and I can see inside.

If I create a floor at ground level (covering this space) I cannot have the ground level image flow seamlessly over the new floor area.

Re: Trying to build an underground structure

Either you select the upper level, or you select the 3D View > Display all levels menu item.
