Horizontally striped texture on imported curved Blender object
Hello!
I created a bottle-like shape in Blender, exported it as an .obj file, and imported that to SH3D. Works fine, except that when I give the curved vertical-ish side of the 'bottle' a horizontally striped texture (e.g. 'log wall') the stripes do not follow the horizontal curves of the surface.
I tested it with a simpler cylinder (i.e. Blender's default cylinder mesh) and the same issue occurs:
This does not get fixed by tweaking texture angle or offset.
By contrast, using the Cylinder furniture object that comes with SH3D (or one of the furniture addons?), the texture gets automatically applied as desired:
Can I do something so the object imported from Blender gets the texture applied in the latter fashion too?
Many thanks!
PS - First post here; been using SH3D to sketch a new home. It's totally awesome! Beautiful work

Thank you Ceciliabr! That's indeed made the difference. I'm new to Blender and did not now anything about UV unwrapping.
For anyone reading this who is also limited to Blender 2.79 (because of an older computer): I found these two videos helpful -- details of the interface are different than in v2.8* :
